My name is Evelien, I recently started as a freelance Graphic Designer and (WordPress) webdesigner.  I love designing and collaborating with all kinds of people. It gives me a lot of energy to see the enthousiasm and discuss all their creative ideas. 

It took me some time to discover my love for designing. I started out studying Arts & economics at the University of the Arts Utrecht.

A study that focuses on managing and organising in the cultural sector. The study is similar to business administration but with a focus on the cultural sector and more on creativity and innovation. This study introduced me to a lot of my current interest. 

After four years of studying I started working in the E-commerce, had a job as an event organizer and finally as a junior marketeer. All of these jobs showed me different aspects of myself. But Ultimately in each of these jobs there was one common denominator that I loved doing: Designing! 

All these jobs had a Design aspect in them, which was always my favorite part. Because of that I decided to switch carreers and I enrolled in a year course for graphic design. And after that year all was clear: This is what I love to do. 

The first few clients I had inspired me to focus on freelance and small businesses. They are most definitely the most enthousiast clients and I love working with them to make their passion come to life.
